QDI Holy Spirit Northside receives CT delivery

Marking a milestone moment in QDI’s $10M redevelopment project at Holy Spirit Northside Private Hospital, the QDI team cheerfully welcomed the delivery of a new Siemens SOMATOM Drive Dual Source CT.

While still offering full services during the renovation, expanded diagnostic services will be offered in the coming months to meet increasing demand.

Samantha Tinker, practice manager said, “The team are excited to work on the latest technology and look forward to developing their skills on the latest modalities.  Career opportunities are enhanced for our team.”

Mid-way through the redevelopment, we are working closely with our referrers and patients while we make the necessary changes to provide a comfortable service.  QDI will be adding PET services to support the expansion of oncology and respiratory service specialisation at Holy Spirit Northside Private Hospital.  New digital X-Ray equipment will be delivered next month and the replacement of our MRI modality from 1.5T to 3T is coming up in mid-August.

Healthcare Imaging Services and QDI have partnered with Holy Spirit Northside Private Hospital to deliver Imaging services to the community since 2001. This redevelopment project is critical to deliver on our strategy of leading in hospital imaging.  Coupled with the hospitals redevelopment strategy to expand services from 227 beds to a 300 bed tertiary institution and St Vincent’s Health Care announcement to build a multi-story hospital, the Medical Imaging Department at Holy Spirit Northside Private Hospital will provide Imaging services to a significantly expanded health care hub.
